About the Program

The Choctaw Nation Capital Fund is here to help you access the funding you need to grow your business. Bank loans can feel out of reach due to strict requirements, but thanks to funding from the U.S. Treasury’s State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI), we partner with banks to reduce their risk, empowering them to lend to more Choctaw-owned businesses.

How Does It Work?

This is not a grant program but a strategic loan support program. We collaborate with local banks by purchasing a portion of your loan or providing collateral, making your application stronger. Once approved, your bank will handle the loan as usual—with us standing behind your success.

Is This Program Right for Me?

If you’re a Choctaw tribal member with a small business (fewer than 750 employees) located in the Choctaw Reservation, this program was designed for you. Even if you’re just starting out, our Chahtapreneur program offers tools to help you become loan-ready or turn a new idea into a thriving start-up. 

How Can It Help My Business?

Use this program to secure financing for working capital, construction, equipment, or real estate – everything you need to grow and succeed. 

How Do I Get Started?

If you are loan-ready, contact your local community bank and begin the loan application process. If they need additional support to approve your loan, they’ll connect with our program to make it happen. If you are not sure you’re ready for a loan, register for a session with one of our experienced advisors who will assist you.
